The product itself is very nice however the hooks began snapping off within a week with only 1 small ladies coat/jacket on each. Ended up replacing the hooks with sturdier ones.

I wanted something to hang our coats with a shelf. Most looked cheap. I found this initially in white, but again it looked cheap. This one looks good, little rough around the edges, but since its wood and not laminated that was easily sorted with a bit of sand paper. Good value and looks nice

Item is ok but the finish is quite poor. The hooks aren’t very big but are ok for one coat. We are only using this for visitors so it is ok for occasional use. If it was to be used more I would consider changing the hooks for larger more sturdy ones. I may consider painting it in the future for a nicer finish. Baskets are nice for storing scarves and gloves or anything you wish to keep by the front door.

I was very impressed with this when I opened the box especially when I realised its solid wood. It came ready assembled and I was glad to see that the wood was unfinished as that allowed me to choose how to treat and protect it. I chose linseed oil as I didn’t want a shiny varnish finish, just wanted to feed and protect the wood. It took the oil well and didn’t discolour or change the colour of the wood. It makes my hall look great and gives me somewhere to put all those little bits like gloves, scarves or hats in the little baskets. I added some S hooks for coats on the wooden bar and they are perfect for hanging coats and bags. Highly recommend this!

I like the style, and the fact it’s not painted, it goes with my colour scheme brilliantly. I use it in a small spare bedroom where there is no space for a wardrobe, it’s ideal for guests on short stays and somewhere to hang a few items. The hooks behind the rail are a bonus, as are the 2 baskets. I love it, that’s why I’ve given 5 stars, yes it has a few rough edges, not noticeable that could be smoothed off but I’m not bothered, and, for the price & construction (it’s quite solid, but light) I think it’s a great price. In fact I’m thinking of getting another for my hallway.

Arrived a day earlier than expected, all in good order, baskets very useful for hats and gloves, not sure that I needed the rail, and with the spacings at least a couple more coat hooks could have been provided
