Arrived a day early , didn’t know what to expect as I’ve read lots of reviews for different dog steps and most were negative. But these had the best reviews so I’ve given them a go. My dog is recovering from a slipped disc ( he’s a chihuahua Yorkshire terrier cross) and needs something to help him get onto the sofa. These steps are firm but cushioned so are lovely for him to go up and down. A good hight and an added bonus with the removable top step and washable cover. They are nice and light, so easy to move around and don’t hurt if you stub your toe on them 🤣.Had no problem getting him to use them , although he does choose to jump onto the sofa sometimes still.I would definitely recommend these dog steps .

Bought to help my cocker spaniel get up onto the sofa in the later stages of recovery from cruciate ligament surgery. Not keen on the detachable top step as it’s too unstable due to only one zip holding it on but he only needs the two so it’s fine. Took some persuasion but works great and it means he can have his favourite seat back without lifting him up and down all the time.Very soft and his paws don’t slip so he can get up and down with confidence. My boy is 23k so a bit chunky and the steps have no trouble with a dog his size. I would think if you’ve got a larger breed than a spaniel the steps may be a little bit narrow so may be worth bearing in mind. However, great for small and medium pooches to save stress on those joints.A great buy and thoroughly recommend.

Sturdy steps and reasonable price great for my Yorkshire terriers as they find it hard to get onto the sofa

My Chihuahua has recently had surgery on her knee and these steps will *hopefully* stop her from jumping up and down the sofas. After searching around I thought these had the best reviews – lots of other ones looked cheap and badly made. These steps are sturdy and I’m really pleased with them. I just wish they had more colours available, such as grey. Also note that the top step is removable, but it doesn’t connect to the other steps below with a zip or anything.

My elderly Jack Russell who has one back leg that isn’t quite as strong as it used to be has really gotten on well with these. I don’t use the top part, so she has a larger square to then get up onto the sofa with and is just fine with that. But she was still ok when I had that on. I’m sure soon they will be grubby and not look as nice, maybe a darker colour would be good as an option. But it is helping her ease up a little on excessive jumping and landing. They are soft but not enough to cause nervousness. I can sit on the middle square step and be at head height with her and it holds me fine.

My elderly arthritic cat was really struggling to get up onto my bed where he likes to sleep at night. I hesitated before buying as this is an expensive product and it would have been alot of money down the drain if he didn’t take to it. However, the steps are nice and sturdy enough for a cat, with no wobbling, so he is fine on them and he uses them all the time now, both to get on to and off the bed. Other reviews have critised the removable top step but although I can see it might be a problem for a dog, as it could keep toppling off if much force was applied, it is fine for a cat and gives you the ability to alter the height of the steps, say, for a low sofa. My cat is very happy with the steps and so am I.

My Staffy after a good run sometimes gets a sore leg, so to save her jumping up on the sofa she uses this, it is easy for the dog to use and quite sturdy, she uses it nearly all the time, know what Staffies are like

Don’t know how our little old dog would manage without these steps . Just the right hight for access to the bed and sofa , and they are soft so if he should stumble no grazed knees .
