Item received on time. It’s exactly how it was described. Absolutely love it and looks great in our garden. Finished the garden off. You can sit outside and listen to the flow of water and just sit back and relax. Would recommend this item

Appearance & Materials used :appearance of the item and over all size our very good the pump housing is cast iron so has the feel and weight of a unit a lot more expensive .The wood exterior has a burnt aged look to it not sure if it has any wood or dry rot treatment on it that could be a issue but for the cost not a real issue .The plastic container/tub is approx 25cm deep it has a 5cm semi circle cut out the back to stop the rain from over filling the tub ,the electric pump is visible sitting in the water at the rear of the tub to get round this I brought some large white pebbles put some clean plant pots up side down in the bottom of the container/tub and put the stones on top of the plant pots to make sure there was enough water around the pump ,you can see in the pictures how that turned out .The running water and flow is perfect as you can see in the video I have left a gap in the stones to allow for the water to hit water and give a nice sound .Feature:The manual feature is just the handle the goes up and down it does not pump water its for the look it makes the unit very tactile to touch due to the metal weight of the handle .Electrical:in the rear of the unit the cable comes out the tub and up over the wood edge I did not like that so I drilled a whole under the wooden edge you can see in my pics the old whole above the new cable exit – reason for doing this was I did not want to see hide the cable as much as possible I was going to cut the moulded mains plug of anyway so I could connected the water feature to an external RCD .On the subject of power the pump has a 13amp fuse in it ? no idea why, I replaced the fuse with a 3amp inside the RCD I fitted a 13amp fuse Is a lot for a small electrical pump I would suggest changing the fuse in the plug for a lower rated one .The power cable is a rubber not cheap pvc .I have uploaded a video of the feature in action..Problem Out The Box:ok so out the box a 1 inch diameter tube screws into the cast iron housing and the other end pushes onto the pump .My tube did not screw/fit into the bottom of the cast iron pump it needs to have a good fit for the right Flo I put some plumbers PTF tape round the threads and got a real good tight seal .DislikesI did not like the the cable exit position out the box .I did not like the pump or tubing being visible .I do not like the plastic tub rim sitting over the wood but for the cost not a issueLikesI love the priceI like the materials usedI like the water flow rateease of install .100% recommend

This item was easy to assemble , and a perfect fit for what i wanted. Good value for money also, i love it.

The metal pump unit has rusted badly within a few outdoor weeks. Most of the original black paint has “gone” leaving a rusty finish. Will have to remove pump and repaint with Hamerite or similar.

Nice looking water feature, it’s quite big and sturdy and the wood being made to look old is a nice touch, decided to fill the tub with river pebbles after seeing someone else do that with there one on here gives it a nice finishing touch

Would recommend but a bit more complicated to assemble than I had thought as I had to drill holes
