Nice weights, they feel well balanced and they look good.The rubber does however smell, even after a couple of weeks of use and a good wash in soapy water.

As other reviews have said, these do have a strong smell of rubber however nothing overwhelming and it does lessen with time. They weighed in at 19.9kg, are built solidly and grip well.

This item must have been sitting in a chain smoker’s apartment for the last 17 years because it absolutely reeks of stale smoke; I’ve been washing it since it was delivered this morning but the smell appears to be permanent and quuuiiite strong.Does it’s job though.
