Delectable meat deserves a beautiful, rich gravy. The specially designed reservoir on the surface of the carving board collects any excess juices or fat as you carve, meeting at an engineered pouring point, perfect for making delicious gravy or even just to make cleaning that little bit easier!
SAFE STORAGE
By nature, the spikes included with this carving board, are sharp, so please do be careful when in use. However, for safer storage when not in use, these spikes can be easily removed and placed safely, out of the way, on the underside of the board. This also means you can use the board as a standard chopping board as well!

I am really pleased with this gripper meat chopping board, and wonder why it took me 56 years of marriage to get round to buying one. The wooden board is excellent quality, and what I really like is that the spike part to grip the meat is easily and most importantly safely stored underneath the board when not in use. I would thoroughly recommend this product.

I am so incredibly glad I bought this spiked bamboo carving board.It is a lovely looking board and very practical. the removable spikes meant can easily be used as a bread or cheese board when I need a large presentation. Removal also makes the spikes easy to clean and store safely.the spikes hold cooked meat securely from really small roast joints up to a whole turkey and the deep grooves collect the juices so they can easily be added backing gravy or other sauces – with no mess on the counter tops.The bamboo is beautiful, stands up well to being used with sharp knives and is really easy to clean thoroughly.Buy it!

I bought this after buying a decent quality (aka. Expensive) carving knife and using my old metal carving dish would have risked blunting its edge. This board has nice rubber feet which stops it sliding around and is of adequate size for a large chicken or small turkey (and anything smaller of course). Only downside is the rather small well for collecting the meat juices which quickly overflows and then drips onto your work surface. It really needed to be much bigger. Spiked ring holds the joint in place and you’re unlikely to catch your carving knife on it, and it stores neatly under the board when not needed. Some sharp edges where the grooves are milled out and running over them with some sandpaper is beneficial for avoiding splinters. Overall a good buy.

I’ve used this product a few times now and it is perfect for roasts. It collects all the juices and you can pour it out if it gets too much (I’m looking at you Tesco chicken!) No more paper towels to mop up all the excess juices under my plastic chopping board.The spikes that hold the roast turns so you don’t have to turn the board itself. The storage solution at the back for the spike ring is genius and I can do it up tight enough that my 5 year old can’t access it. Due to the feet on the back it stays were you put it so no movement when cutting.Very easy to clean too which is always a bonus.
